Lilias Margaret Lidderdale's second child, Milicent Lilias Yelverton Dawson, born on 26th July, 1918, married Denis Richard Hornidge, Captain (E.C.0.) R.E.. By profession a mining engineer, he was on the staff of the Rumanian Oilfields until the German advance made them untenable. After the war he received an appointment on the Rhodesian Copper Fields. Their children are Deidre Lidderdale Hornidge (born October 6, 1943) and Aileen Felicity Hornidge (born August 26, 1946).
