He was born August 28, 1874. He married Katherine, daughter of Edwin Walter Last. There were no children of the marriage. An A.M.I.C.E. and A.I.E.E., America, he joined the Westinghouse Company for whom he worked on the electrification of the London Underground Railways and many other works in England and Wales. He left them to be Managing Director of G. B. Kent & Sons, from which he ultimately retired. Died c 1954, many years after his wife.
